Man joins mother in capital murder charge against father

FLORENCE — A man is charged with capital murder in the 2019 Lauderdale County shooting death of his father – a shooting that also has the man’s mother facing a capital murder charge, officials said.
A Lauderdale County grand jury returned the indictment on Randall Coty Bobo in the September 2019 death of Randall Bobo at his residence off Lauderdale 130, authorities said.
The grand jury indictment charges Coty Boby with capital murder – accomplice liability and criminal conspiracy to commit murder.
His mother, Peggy Sue Hall, was arrested on the day of the shooting and charged with capital murder.
Bobo was shot once in the head and once in the chest and died at the residence, authorities said.
Witness testimony indicates Hall entered the residence unwelcomed and shot Randall Bobo.
Coty Bobo’s indictment contends he aided and abetted his mother in the crime.
