Brooks teacher, student involved in sexual misconduct investigation

KILLEN – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigation allegations of sexual misconduct involving a Brooks High School teacher and student, the agency announced today.
The agency did not tell the name of the teacher involved, but said Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton requested that ALEA investigate.
“Special Agents with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) are investigating an alleged incident of sexual misconduct between a teacher and student at Brooks High School, in Killen, AL.,” the release stated. “Nothing further is available as the investigation is ongoing. Once complete, findings will be turned over to the Lauderdale County District Attorney’s Office.”
