Colbert, Lauderdale each surpass 100 COVID deaths

Colbert and Lauderdale counties each have surpassed the 100-death mark since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the latest report from the Alabama Department of Public Health.
Broken down by county, Colbert County has had 5,640 cases, including 473 in the last two weeks, and 104 deaths. Lauderdale has had 8,049 cases, including 727 in the last two weeks, and 121 deaths
Nearby, Franklin County has had 3,801 cases, including 222 in the last two weeks, and 53 deaths.
Statewide, there have been 449,086 cases, including 39,752 in the last two weeks, and 7,172 deaths.
