A state trooper takes photos of the scene after a dump truck crashed into a house.

LEIGHTON — A Colbert County Road Department truck crashed into a house after colliding with a sedan driver Monday morning on old Alabama Highway 20.
Information on the names of the drivers was unavailable, but Alabama Troopers said there were no fatalities. The driver of the Toyota Camry was injured and taken to a hospital but the dump truck driver was not seriously injured.
The home was unoccupied.
The dump truck was traveling along old Alabama Highway 20 and hit the Camry, which was crossing the highway at the intersection where Marthaler Lane becomes Sockwell Lane. There are stop signs at the intersection for crossing the highway but not on the highway.
The cab portion of the truck was inside the house, leaving a gaping hole after it was pulled out.
The impact even caused some damage to the back of the house.
