Parole board continues hearing for Tuscumbia murderer

MONTGOMERY — A parole hearing was continued Tuesday for a man convicted of murder in a 1998 Tuscumbia shooting, authorities said.
The Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles will consider parole for Aldrich T. Pruitt, said Matthew Estes, communications director for the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles.
Court recrods indicate Pruitt received a life sentence in the fatal shooting Terry Donley, who was shot in the chest on April 25, 1998.
The men were playing a card game at an East Eighth Street residence when the incident occurred, records show.
He has served 22 years, 1 month, 29 days in the Kilby Infirmary, according to the Alabama Department of Corrections.
