Shoals has had 96 COVID deaths in 2020

The Shoals has had more than 7,500 cases of COVID-19 and is edging closer to the grim 100-death mark, with 96 deaths in Colbert and Lauderdale counties, according to the latest figures from the Alabama Department of Public Health.
Colbert County has had 3,320 cases, including 522 in the last two weeks, and 42 deaths.
Lauderdale County has had 4,267 cases, including 836 in the last 14 days, and 54 deaths.
Franklin County has had 2,574 cases, including 217 in the last two weeks, and 34 deaths.
252,900 cases of COVID-19 and 3,638 deaths, according to the department. That includes 32,670 in the last two weeks.
Thus far, there have been 1,593,842 diagnostic and 71,828 antibody tests conducted in the state.
