MADISON, Ala. — October 11-15 is National College Lunch Week.
Madison Metropolis Faculties is taking time to thank their cafeteria group for all their onerous work, in particular at some level of the pandemic. Through meals and staffing shortages, meals shipping delays, and even menu and seating adjustments, they’ve powered through.
Since the starting of the pandemic, baby nutrition workers were designated as essential workers. Marty Tatara, the Child Diet Coordinator for MCS says they are heroes.
“Colossal shoutout to your whole baby nutrition workers, in particular my group within the Metropolis of Madison,” acknowledged Tatara. “They've no longer acknowledged no one time. When now we bear called upon them to invent one thing, to sail above and past, they bear no longer hesitated.”
For the past two summers, many baby nutrition workers remained entrance and heart of the pandemic feeding students, even whereas college wasn’t in session. Don’t omit to thank your favourite cafeteria workers!
