The Recall LaGrange 2024 Festival will be on Saturday, May 4 from 10am to 2pm. Living history presentations will be ongoing throughout the day and there will be tours of the Dawson Distillery near the park during the day of the event.
Florence Historic Walking Tours: Forks of Cypress
The Forks of Cypress Plantation was one of the oldest antebellum mansions in Alabama. It was built in 1822 by James Jackson, one of the first settlers in Lauderdale County and a friend of Andrew Jackson. Bring your lawn chairs for the beginning portion of the tour.
