3 inmates in local cases have parole hearings

The Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles will consider parole this week for three inmates who have been convicted in Shoals-related cases, authorities said.Shauna Marie Davis is up for parole Wednesday, while Claude Bennet Reatherford and James Wesley Tyler Tingle are up Thursday, said Terry Abbott, director of communications for the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles.Davis has served just over a year of a 5-year sentence for a 2019 conviction on third-degree robbery in Colbert County, according to the Alabama Department of Corrections. She is in the Montgomery Women’s Facility.Reatherford has served 1 year, 4 months of a 5-year sentence for a Lauderdale County conviction of possession of a controlled substance, according to corrections officials.
